Please note that the volume of applications we have received means it is very unlikely that we will be able to accommodate you at REVIVAL 24 but its still worth applying as we will:

Taking place in the old part of Mountsorrel it includes a street parade, fun run, stalls, food, music, village competitions, activities for all ages, themed areas – indeed something for all the family.

Pitch Locations:

Village Green
This is our traditional fete area. About 20 smaller pitches are located on both sides of the old village green. Our plans for this area include traditional attractions such as, fancy dress competition, Morris dancing, musical Interludes and more. The fun-run and parade will terminate here. We are again seeking permission to close the road so there will be no vehicular access to this area during the event. All pitches are on grass.

Memorial Centre
The fantastic Memorial Centre will hold about 20 internal stalls in the magnificent main auditorium; typically, these will be Art & Crafts, but all are welcome. Upstairs we are hoping to include a model railway and to host our village competitions.

Soar Valley Leisure Centre
The Soar Valley Leisure Centre car park will again host about 6 external pitches. These catch all the passing crowds moving between the Playing Field and the Memorial Centre/the Green. All pitches are on hard standing.

Playing Fields
We are looking to provide activities such as an assault course, laser quest, dog show, and dog agility all alongside all the old favourites like Have-a-go-Archery, trampolines, mini-roundabouts and some new items for 2024. There will also be about 25 pitches including a number of food providers. An advantage of this area is that stallholders will be able to park their vehicles near to their pitch. All pitches are on grass.

Market Place
About 12 smaller stalls located from the yard at the Temperance Hall to the junction of the Market Place and Sileby Road. We are planning live entertainment in the Butter Market and we are again asking to close Watling Street to traffic to provide a safer environment for visitors to watch, listen and shop. The fun-run and parade will pass through this area. All pitches are on hard standing.

Waterside Inn Area
About 10 stalls will be based in and around the closed Waterside Inn Car Park. We are planning to host the Classic Car show here and Have-a-go-Boats on the River, as well as musical entertainment. Pitches are on a mix of grass and hard standing.
